Toronto rapper, shaqisdope dropped his second song in two months last night. Coming off of the back of his last release, 'Float Freestlye', the Canadian continues to make noise.
At 27 years old, Shaquille Baptist has been apart of Toronto the underground scene for some time.
He is known for his slick wordplay and rapid rhymes. At times, his quick rapping has him sounding similar to Joyner Lucas or Logic. Although, that is the only similarity between those three.

I personally think shaqisdope has the flow and lyrical ability to be a mainstream artist. I also think that in terms of talent, he could go toe to toe with some of the best in the game.
Fans of shaqisdope have seen this in the past through some of his hit tracks. Still Open, Wraith Dreamz and DWNTWN are just a few of his popular tracks.
The 6 side native shows his wordplay ability through older songs such as Facts, Power, and Wake Up.
Still the same allows Shaq to show his best wordplay that I have heard from him. The Toronto rapper sounds like a veteran on this track as he flows through the beat.
He goes crazy in the middle of the song, going off for about a minute, almost reminiscent of Eminem.

This track might be one of my new favorite songs just because I was not expecting shaqisdope to sound this good. He has really come a long way and his hard work is beginning to show as his skills continue to improve.
Maybe all of this music could be a sign that he's been working on a new project.
